Joi’s Volunteer Work

Veterinary Ventures

Dr Joi Sutton has done extensive international volunteer work. Initially she would volunteer for other nonprofit organizations, then started Veterinary Ventures, Inc. Vet Ventures is an American-based 501(c)(3) organization that brings veterinary care to animals in developing nations.   Since it’s inception in 2005, Vet Ventures has had 2 campaigns in American Samoa, a campaign in Mexico, and a campaign in Peru. Thousands of animals have been spayed and neutered who would have likely never otherwise received veterinary care.  Veterinary Ventures brings humane veterinary care to the less fortunate animals of the world.  Dr Joi has extensive experience to spay or neuter YOUR pet!

Prior to founding Vet Ventures, she traveled throughout the South Pacific helping stray and owned animals. You may visit her bio page for more information on her volunteer work.

Read What Our Clients Say

I was recommended to Tequesta Vet Clinic about a year ago. All I can say is if you are looking for the perfect Vet, the perfect staff, your search is over. Joi Sutton and her staff are exceptional. Your furrry kids will get excellent care.

Tequesta Vet Clinic has rescued my boy-cat who was diagnosed with diabetes. The previous vet had him on an insulin regiment that was not in his best interest. Dr. Joi Sutton has been the most compassionate and educated veterinarian that I have had the pleasure of knowing. My cat, along with his brothers, who also have been under her care for dental work, have immensely benefited by seeing her. Not only do my boys get VIP treatment, they are sent home “very thankful.” This makes me immensely
